Miniature Train & Vintage Bus Ride (Highfields Pioneer Village)

Miniature Train: (Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children.)
The Miniature Steam Loco Myrtle May’s total length is ~11m she runs on 10¼” track and has 3 passenger carriages and a water and coal tender, she can carry more than 12 adults or 18 children at any time!

Vintage Model T Bus: (Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children*.)
Henry the Model T Ford Bus also gives rides and was manufactured in 1924 and originally used as a school bus for the Kilcoy State School from 1924 to 1940.
Henry the Model T Ford bus can carry 12 people at once and is the perfect opportunity for those people who wish to have a sneak preview of the Village without purchasing a full entry ticket.

*Children under 5 years are required to have an adult accompany them.

The Toowoomba Fire Brigade Historical Museum at the Highfields Pioneer Village complex will be open, with children in attendance receiving a free snakes and ladders game plus a blazer bear sticker. They can get their photo taken in a historic fire truck with a volunteer present daily between 11:30am-3pm.

Billy Tea and Damper is available every day. You are also welcome to bring a picnic lunch or purchase a sausage sizzle.

ALL PASSENGERS MUST WEAR ENCLOSED FOOTWEAR.
